Brahinez Family-Style Orphanage

With generous donations from amazing people here in the U.S., Nova Spark Foundation was able to provide means for this orphanage of family style in Ukraine to repair damages to their home. Extensive damages were sustained during Russian attacks in Kyiv region.
There are 11 kids in this children’s home - 3 adopted and 8 foster children. They came back to their house after the area was freed from occupants to find it in shambles.
Nova Spark Foundation sent the funds to help repair the home. When our co-founder, Olga, was visiting this orphanage, the repairs were still under way. She had a privilege of meeting these wonderful children and the amazing couple who raises them. All the children help each other with chores and daily tasks. The youngest boy just joined this family and his new older siblings are helping him every step of the way to get adjusted to his new home. All the children do well in school thanks to the mom who helped all of them to catch up on the gaps they had in schooling when they joined their home.
The father does most of the repairs for the house himself. A couple of boys are very interested in construction and home repairs and are learning from their father as they work on the home.
We are looking forward to continue working with this wonderful orphanage and watching these children become successful young adults!
